2012–2013 will be the
50th Season

A Darter Commission
to Open the Season

The December 2012 concert will include a work composed by Tom Darter that has been commissioned by the Livermore-Amador Symphony Association in honor of the 50th season of the symphony.

Beethoven's Ninth Symphony
to Close the Season

The May 2013 concert will feature a performance of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9. The Livermore-Amador Symphony Guild is underwriting the performance of this work for orchestra, chorus, and soloists, which is considered by some people to be the greatest piece of music ever written.

Asilomar Retreat
to Celebrate the Season

The Livermore-Amador Symphony Association is planning a retreat at Asilomar State Beach and Conference Grounds for its members—orchestra players, Guild members, and donors—and their families on the weekend of Friday April 26 through Sunday April 28, 2013. (Individuals will pay a fee toward lodging and meals.)

Below are photos of Asilomar State Beach, the lodge, and one of the guest rooms at the conference center. For information about Asilomar, click here.
