Gala opening

All the World's a Stage: The Bard, Baritones and Bassoons! Shakespeare's Associates, the Livermore Valley Opera, the Livermore-Amador Symphony and the Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center present an integrated program celebrating the artists in our companies and the opening of the Bankhead Theater. Jim Ott will emcee. Among other offerings, the Symphony will debut Tom Darter’s new piece commissioned by Bankhead Theater, Shakespeare’s Associates/Livermore Shakespeare Festival will offer scenes from the hit The Comedy of Errors, and LVO will present scenes including arias from its upcoming La Bohème. After the show, Livermore Downtown will provide a reception and auction banners created by local artists for the Art Banner Project. Tickets available through Bankhead Theater at (925) 373-6800.
